The Zeta Doves Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Eta Beta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. The foundation stands as a distinct and separate entity from the chapter.
Our story began with a vision: to create a nonprofit organization that could better serve the Durham, North Carolina, community through impactful initiatives.
Through research and collaboration, our members embraced a mission that extends beyond local service—one that holistically improves lives globally, nurturing the mind, body, and soul. Yet, our guiding principle remains “Durham First.”
On March 1, 2021, that vision became reality when the Zeta Doves Foundation was officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This milestone was made possible by the dedication of our charter members: Mary Harris, Jill Smith, Shell Hollis, Tiffany Yancey, Gloria Smallwood, Wilda Carter-Neville, Allison Rivera, Tonya Minggia, Tamika Pritchett, and Cherie Hipps.
Today, the Zeta Doves Foundation continues to grow and evolve, driven by a commitment to service, empowerment, and community impact.
